Description

The Cardinals website serves as an internal resource for staff at the University of British Columbia, as well as external agencies, involved in marketing, communications, design, and web production work for the university – an audience totaling more than 300 members.

Developed with Drupal, the site is set up with multiple roles with different access permissions, and makes extensive use of custom content types and a number of other modules and features such as:

  • self-service sign-up (approved by an administrator)
  • blog, integrating polls and Twitter feeds
  • online directories
  • password-protected areas for downloading files
  • advanced search capabilities
  • online contact forms
  • mail-out tool for contacting members of the site
