My name is Adrian Liem, and I help people research, plan, and execute on web, digital, and social strategies that support their business goals.

With deep experience working for large public sector organizations combined with hands-on experience in entrepreneurial web projects, I’m as comfortable hand coding as I am in sketching business ideas on paper napkins, conceptualizing user experiences, scoping technical development, and managing a project.

I am currently on a leave of absence from my full-time job at the University of British Columbia, where I was the Senior Web Coordinator involved in online / digital branding, social media marketing, web strategy advising, and open source web development.

Since 2002, I have provided:

• consultation on web strategy (and more recently, social media)
• guidance on user experience, web standards, and web analytics
• implementation and support of content management systems, open source software (like WordPress and Drupal)
• integration of lightweight web applications and emerging web technologies
